Tell tale heart

Life is horrifying when you have an “evil eye” over seeking you. Envision you are someone who has mental problems and kills a kind innocent old man because you believe it’s someone watching you from down below. This is was happen to the main character in the short story “Tell Tale Heart” Life is much harder to live when you have someone, or something over looking you.
Though life may be hard to live when you have become ill, life can show you things that may be greater to the mind than the eye. The old man is a great example. First he is the reason for the evil eye. The old man represents the truth, kindness, yet was possibly “possessing” the narrator. Before the narrator killed the old man he was kind and sweet to him; the old man brought in the bad and good of him. That is where he symbolizes kindness and possessing. The old man was so sweet to the narrator, he was polite and such. But that one different colored eye got to the narrator. That was the thing that the narrator thought that was attacking him.
Though the old man showed a lot of emotion to the narrator the evil eye is the object who caused all the stress. I believe the author of this tale made the evil eye for a reason. When the author was growing up his adopted father neglected him and didn’t show any love towards him. So he made the evil eye to show that his “father” was scrutinizing him. The narrator thought it was the devil watching him. He also thought that the devil was haunting him and was taking over the old man. The narrator deemed that the devil wanted to take his life so the only way to get rid of his fear is to kill the old man. The evil eye represents death, and haunting; and guessing it was a matter of time before he killed the entity because of his mental issues.
Though many thoughts were brought into your mind and told you the answers of his craziness; there much more left unsaid.
